The Central Jakarta Dstrict Court, Indonesia, sentenced to death Nigerian national Humprey Ijike for possession of heroin. "The defendant was convincingly and legitimately proven guilty of keeping and trafficking heroin," chief judge Mulyani said when reading the verdict. Humprey was captured by police during a raid in his house in Jalan Wahid Hasyim on August 2, 2003. In the raid police confiscated 1.7 kilograms of heroin kept in five socks in his room.
