The chairman of the criminal collegium of the Supreme Court of Tajikistan, Fakhriddin Dodomatov, said: "I think the time for abolishing capital punishment has not yet come. In general, this is a difficult philosophical and juridical question and it is impossible to speak about it in a word.
However, I can say with confidence that our court system is sufficiently protected against making mistakes. Capital punishment is dealt with using particular accuracy, and every court feels a great responsibility for this."
