The city of Wuhan convicted a group of drug offenders, sentencing 13 of them to death. Within this group, eight were then executed by shooting. Approximately 143 kg of drugs were destroyed by burning. This was the largest number of convictions in the history of the anti-narcotics campaign in Wuhan, and one of the largest quantities of drugs burnt.
