The Constitutional Court rejected the Nationalist Movement Party's (MHP) request for stopping of enforcement of some articles of European Union (EU) adjustment laws like the abolition of death sentence except war or close war threats, acquisition of immovables by non-Muslim foundations, right to education and broadcast in languages other than Turkish, and acceptance of decisions given by European Court of Human Rights as a reason for re-trial in some conditions. Constitutional Court Deputy Chairman Hasim Kilic said that the court unanimously made the decision.
