The Court of Appeals upheld the mandatory death sentence imposed on Andy Baginda, a Filipino drug trafficker. Andy Baginda was sentenced to death by the Kota Kinabalu High Court on June 22 in 1998 after he was found guilty of trafficking in 811gms of cannabis in 1996.
