the Court of First Instance sentenced three men to death over charges of killing a Tunisia’s national security member in Zaghouan governorate in January. Ali Sharabi had been slaughtered in Zaghouan as he returned from work in the capital Tunis by “a group of extremist takfiri men,” the Tunisian Interior Ministry said in a statement in January. The court has also handed down sentences against three others ranging between 10 and 22 years on charges of joining terrorist organisations inside and outside the country.
