The European Parliament adopted the own-initiative report by Pedro Marset Campos on relations between the EU and Belarus. The report stated its concern regarding the involuntary isolation of the country and called for political and economic reforms to be adopted. Above all it called for abolition of the death penalty and the improvement in human rights.
