The foreign policy commissions with the parliaments of Moldova and Romania signed a joint declaration in which the two countries expressed their bid to join the EU and request a new trial of the Ilascu case. The declaration expressed the two sides' wish to transfer the trial in a member country of the organization and accept the new verdict as final.
