The Guangzhou Intermediate People's Court, in Guangdong Province, sentenced alleged drug traffickers Zou Shaohua a Malaysian, and Liu Songwen, to death with two years reprieve, the Yangcheng Evening News reported. According to the newspaper, on 16 January 2001, Liu allegedly asked Zou to smuggle 10,000 ecstasy pills to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
