The Hanoi People's Court, Vietnam, sentenced to death Le Minh Duc, 20, for killing and robbing his 52-year-old neighbour in November 2003. Duc strangled his victim to death using plastic wire and then fled with her gold necklace and 200 dollars in cash. He was arrested three weeks later.
