The Jinzhou Municipal Intermediate People's Court announced its judgment on the extraordinary case of mass murder in the coal pits in Yi County, Liaoning. Eleven defendants, including Yu Guiyin were convicted of intentional homicide and sentenced to death. Liu Ruiping was also convicted of intentional homicide and sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve.
