The judicial collegium for criminal proceedings of the Tajik Supreme Court, headed by a judge of the Supreme Court, Azamat Temurkhonov, has examined a criminal case brought against Khurshed Rasulov, Ilhomjon Muminov, Khurshe, Yusupov, Ikrom Gadoyev, Mirzoshoh Pirov, Komiljon Baqoyev, Saidasror Abrorov and Sherahkam Safaraliyev. The judicial collegium accused the aforementioned of committing a series of serious crimes in the country between 1997-2001. They were charged with participation in armed groups, robbery, banditry, murder and illegal keeping of drugs, particularly heroin, in Dushanbe and [northern] Soghd Region. The judicial collegium sentenced to capital punishment Khurshed Rasulov Mahmadqulovich. The others were sentenced to imprisonment.
