The military board of the Tajik Supreme Court sentenced to death

The military board of the Tajik Supreme Court sentenced to death. Sherali and Dowud Nazriyevs, two brothers charged with the attempted murder of Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaydulloyev. The brothers had been found guilty of planting a bomb in the mayor's car in February 2000. The blast killed Deputy Security Minister Shamsullo Jobirov, 46, and injured Ubaydulloyev and his driver.
