The New Jersey Supreme Court, citing a trial judge's error, reversed Daron Josephs'death sentence, but upheld his conviction for murder.
Josephs, now 30, was convicted in April 2000 of murdering 2 other members of a marijuana-distribution ring in 1995. The unanimous ruling by the 7-member court threw out the death sentence because the judge improperly instructed the jury.
