The official note on the execution of the death penalty passed against Salih Izzet Erdis, the ringleader of the illegal IBDA-C [Islamic Great Eastern Raiders Front] organization, has been submitted to the [National] Assembly Speaker's Office. Erdis, also known under the name of Salih Mirzabeyoglu, had been sentenced to death by the Istanbul 6th State Security Court for forcibly changing the constitutional order. Erdis's sentence had been upheld by the Supreme Court of Appeals as well. Meanwhile, the official notes on the execution of the death penalty against Hasan Aydogan and Turkan Ozen, who were sentenced to death for forcibly changing the constitutional order, were also submitted to the Assembly Speaker's Office. The said files were referred to the Justice Committee.
