The Parliamentary Constitution Commission passed an amendment bill proposing changes in 37 articles in the current Constitution.The bill proposes a change in Article 38 of the Constitution concerning the death sentence. Under the bill, a person cannot be sentenced to death except for "war or terrorism situations."
