the Patna High Court in India acquitted 6 people sentenced to death and 4 people sentenced to life imprisonment by a lower court. In 1988, in Nonhi, Jehanabad district, 19 people were killed in a carnage. A division bench of Shaivkirti Singh and Shailesh Kumar Sinha, while absolving these 10 accused, also commuted the capital punishment of two other convicts to life imprisonment.
