The Permanent Military Court, chaired by Staff Brigadier-General Mahir Safiy al-Din issued a verdict of execution for Husayn Ulayyan, Chief Warrant Officer in the Lebanese army, for contacting the Israeli enemy and its agents and revealing security and military information, which should have been kept secret. Ulayyan was also convicted of conspiring and cooperating with the enemy and aiding it in battle. He was also convicted of involvement in the assassination of several leaders of the Resistance in collusion with the enemy and of entering enemy territory several times. A judicial source said Ulayyan, 37, could appeal against the death sentence.
