The right-wing opposition Danish People's Party's spokesman for foreign affairs protested against Beijing's bid to host the 2008 Olympic Games, Danish radio reported.Peter Skaarup sent a letter to the Foreign Policy Committee in which he said human rights abuses were a "fundamental problem" in China and that any decision to allow Beijing to host the Games should be conditional on China "stopping arbitrary executions, recognizing the rights of the Tibetans and ensuring media freedom".
