The Supreme Shari'ah Court of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria released a text regarding the planned referendum to be held in Chechnya by the Russian Federation on March 23 asking voters whether they want to accept the Russian Constitution. "Everyone who encourages people to go to the referendum or is involved in the organisation of the referendum is subject to the punishment of death for showing friendliness towards infidels and providing assistance to the infidel constitution which fights a war against Muslims," the text said.
