The Thai Supreme Court upheld the death sentence for Fang Kee Tun, a 46 year old Singaporean convicted of possessing 1.4 kilograms of heroin with intent to sell. Tun was arrested while carrying the drugs in front of a Bangkok hotel in 2001. The Singaporean pleaded not guilty, saying that he had not been aware of any drug deal.
