The United National Liberation Front (UNLF) executed a deserter

The United National Liberation Front (UNLF) executed a deserter of the outfit for molesting a teenaged girl in Khongmulian village of Chandel district, State of Manipur, in India, the UNLF said on Monday. The molestation took place on January 8. The deserter, identified as Khuman Ngamba, had decamped with an A K 56 rifle after the incident. The next day the outfit's cadres 'arrested' him. He was executed by a three-member firing squad after a brief ‘trial’ by the underground ‘court’.
