Three Indians were executed for murder under Islamic Sharia law. Qader Aktar Hassan, Anis Qassem Dahnassi and a woman, Fatima Yussef al-Din Sayed, were accused of premeditated murder of a Qatari man and were put to death in the capital Doha. The executions were upheld by the Court of Appeal and ratified by the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.
