Three Saudi men were beheaded in public with a sword after being found guilty of an armed robbery.
Khalaf bin Ramadan al-Anzi, Nayef al-Hazemi and Thaher al-Anzi had been sentenced to death for taking drugs and robbing an exchange company.
The Saudi Interior Ministry stated they were executed in the northeastern province of Arar.
The executions raised to at least 49 the number of people beheaded in 2002 in the conservative Gulf kingdom.
