Three [unidentified] Afghan bandits were hung in public in the Khorasan Province on the border with Afghanistan. The three were sentenced to death by a revolutionary court after being arraigned for involvement in the drug trade. Police said they had killed five armed Afghan bandits and arrested 145 others in this province over the previous days.
