Two Nepalese nationals, Til Bahadur Bhandari, 24, and Bahadur Gurung, 32, were sentenced to death by the Tangerang District Court for drug trafficking. The men were convicted of smuggling 1.764 kilograms of heroin in 204 capsules in their stomachs. They had been arrested on July 30, 1999 at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
