Two Pakistani nationals were executed in Kuwait, in the second hanging in a week.
Mohammad Asef Sultan was convicted of abducting and killing of his Iranian business partner in January 2000 with the aim of stealing his money.
He allegedly stabbed him several times and then chopped off his head.
The second, Shafiq Nazir, was caught at Kuwait International Airport in May 1999 with 1.8 kilograms (about four pounds) of heroin.
Nazir's hanging was the fifth execution of a drug dealer since the introduction in 1995 of a law imposing the death penalty for trafficking.
The two men were hanged behind closed doors in front of the interior ministry in Kuwait City and then spectators were allowed to view their dangling bodies.
