two Palestinians, Mohammed Abu Ganas, 53, and Rami, 22, father and son, were convicted of collaborating with Israeli intelligence and sentenced to death by a Palestinian court.
The two Gaza residents were arrested by Palestinian security forces in December 2003 and were convicted of passing information on locations of militants targeted by Israel.
The pair admitted they passed information on the location of late Hamas leader Abdel Aziz Rantisi, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike April 17.
Before the sentence can be implemented, it must be appreoved by the Palestinian president.
Arafat died November 11, 2004 without approving death sentences imposed on Palestinians.
