Two people were sentenced to death and another to life imprisonment for killing a young businessman in Bangladesh in 1999. The Additional District and Sessions Judge handed down the death penalty to Shahin Biswas and Mohammad Zahid and life imprisonment to Monir Hossain. They had been convicted of murdering a man known as Mokshed in front in Banalata on March 20, 1999.
