two people with two counts of robbery with violence have been condemned to death by a Thika court, in Kenya. James Karanja Kimani and Peter Gitau Njoroge were convicted and sentenced by principal magistrate BJ Ndeda. The accused were charged that on Feb 15, 2011 at Kiranga in Murang'a county, jointly and with others not before the court, while armed with pangas and rungus they robbed Edward Kang'ethe Mwaura of two pairs of trousers, a phone, a charger and Sh150 in cash all valued at Sh2,000.
