Two prisoners on Iran's death row and eight other inmates held in Varamin prison southeast of Tehran have escaped after using teaspoons to dig a six-metre tunnel, a newspaper reported. Jam-e-Jam, which cited prison authorities, did not give further details, except to say that eight of the 10 prisoners were serving lengthy sentences.
