Two Yemenis were executed separately in Lahj and Mahweet provinces for premeditated murder, according a statement by the public prosecution. Mahmoud Naji Ahmad was put to death after having been found guilty by a primary court of murdering Abdul-Hakeem Ali Hamoud, said the statement, cited by the official Yemeni news agency, Saba. The verdict was endorsed by the Lahj province appeals court and the supreme court. In Mahweet province, Abdullah Ahmad Al Dhaheri was executed for killing Abdullah Muhammad Al Dhaheri, said the statement.
