UAE: EXPAT SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR HEINOUS CRIME

Sharjah Criminal Court sentenced a man to death after being found guilty of killing two brothers inside their apartment in Sajaa Industrial Area.The accused, Asian national, reportedly had an argument with the two brothers, also Asian nationals, during which he grabbed a knife and stabbed them to death. The victims were pronounced dead at Kuwait Hospital, Emarat Al Youm reported.   The victims' father refused to waive the right of a trial in return for blood money. The defendant confessed to the crime during police interrogation. However, he denied the charges against him in court stating that his actions were in self-defence.
