in Uganda, Patrick Bwenge’s death sentence was reduced to two years imprisonment. He was convicted of murdering his wife on May 5, 1995. High Court Justice Anna Magezi commuted the sentence because Bwenge was drunk and there was no evidence of premeditated murder.
