UGANDA UPDF SOLDIER TO HANG FOR MURDER, ROBBERY

the division court martial in Mbarara, Uganda, has sentenced a UPDF soldier to death by hanging after he was found guilty of murder and robbery charges. The court presided over by Col. Eric Mukasa heard that on May 19, 2006, Odongo Chamari murdered Kyakuhaire Kabagambe, 7, of Nyabusokoma village, Karugutu sub-county, Bundibugyo district. On the same day he also robbed two people of over Shs 200, 000 at gun point.
