UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: MAN GETS DEATH SENTENCE 
FOR KILLING FORMER WIFE

in the United Arab Emirates, the Fujairah Court of Appeals sentenced a man identified as AAM to death for fatally stabbing his ex-wife KAH at her family home in July 2009. The court also sentenced him to one year in jail and fined him Dh5,000. He was sentenced to life but the victim's family refused blood money.
