United Nations High Commission for Human Rights Mary Robertson said that she wants an inquiry in to the killings of Taliban prisoners at a fort in Afghanistan amid allegations that some of the men were shot execution style.
They were allegedly shot at close range during an uprising at the Qala-e Jangi fort near Mazer-e Sharif. She said she wants Amnesty International and other human rights groups investigate the killings. Meanwhile the British Government said an inquiry is not necessary.
