DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO - Serviceman sentenced to death for murder

the military court of the Uvira Garrison, DRC, sentenced a soldier to death and two others to terms of imprisonment after convicting them of murder and the distribution of arms. The defendants’ right to defence was not respected as they were not given sufficient time to prepare for the case.
