After the stay of execution the United States Supreme Court granted to Ernest Johnson yesterday, 2 more executions are scheduled before the end of the year.
Raphael Deon Holiday is scheduled to be executed in Texas on November 19th 2015. Marcus Ray Johnson is scheduled to be executed in Georgia on November 20th.
Even if both executions will take place, the number will be 27, which would be the lowest number since 1992. Executions were 35 last year, and 39 in 2013. They reached the maximum in recent years in 1999 with 98.
