USA - Alabama. A jury recommended death for Cedric Floyd, 30, Black
An Escambia County jury recommends 11-1 death for Cedric Floyd, 30, Black. Floyd was convicted Monday of fatally shooting his girlfriend, Tina Jones, at her home on Jan. 2, 2011. Circuit Judge Bert Rice will have the final say on the sentence, during a hearing that is tentatively scheduled for January 2014.
