USA - Alabama. Judge Sibley Reynolds sentenced James Osgood to death

Judge Sibley Reynolds sentenced James Osgood, 44, White, to death. Osgood and his girlfriend, Tonya Van Dyke, were accused of killing 46-year-old Tracy Brown in 2010 inside of her mobile home on October 2010. Authorities say Brown was beaten and sexually abused before her throat was slit. In May of this year, a Chilton County jury found Osgood guilty of 2 capital murder charges and on May 12 (see) recommended the death penalty. Van Dyke’s trial is set to begin in December.
