USA - Alabama. The Court of Criminal Appeals overturned the conviction of Marqueze Taron Smith

The Court of Criminal Appeals overturned the conviction of Marqueze Taron Smith, 34, Black. He was sentenced to death on May 8, 2012 (see) in the kidnapping, robbery and killing of Jeremy Black in 2003. The appeals court said polygraph evidence was improperly introduced in Smith's trial.
