USA - Alabama. Warren Hardy sentenced to death

A Madison County jury has recommended the death penalty for Warren Hardy.
Hardy, 32, Black, asked the jury to show mercy, arguing that mental problems played a role in the August 26, 2016 killing of Kathleen Lundy, 72.
Hardy killed Lundy and stole her car to chase down his ex-girlfriend. He was convicted of capital murder.
Circuit Judge Chris Comer set a sentencing hearing for Aug. 25.
