USA - California. A jury has recommended death for Donte McDaniel

A Los Angeles jury has recommended death for Donte McDaniel, 29, black. McDaniel was convicted last April of shooting 33-year-old George Brooks and Brooks' 52-year-old cousin Annette Anderson on April 6, 2004. Prosecutors say he and co-defendant Kai Harris shot Brooks and Anderson because of a dispute over drug proceeds. Harris is being tried separately.
