A Los Angeles jury recommended the death penalty today for Anthony Dent, 36, a gang member convicted in the Jan. 27, 2002 murdering of Vincent Williams, 49, a rival drug dealer. Dent was scheduled to appear for formal sentencing on Sept. 8 in the court of trial Judge Bob Bowers Jr.. Dent is already serving a life sentence for the fatal shootings of 2 other people in April 2004 and January 2002.
