Kern County judge John S. Somers sentenced Robert Dale Fuller, 61, White, twice to death for the murders of Fuller's estranged wife, Annette Sowders, 45, and mother-in-law Sharon Sue Cannon, 69, on August 8, 2009. A jury recommended the death penalty for Fuller on Dec. 15, 2014.
