USA - California. Judge Kathleen Kennedy sentenced Lonnie Franklin Jr. to death for the murders of 10 women

Los Angeles superior court judge Kathleen Kennedy sentenced Lonnie Franklin Jr. to death for the murders of 10 women during a 23-year killing spree. Franklin, dubbed the Grim Sleeper serial killer, was found guilty in May of the first-degree murders of Debra Jackson, Henrietta Wright, Mary Lowe, Bernita Sparks, Barbara Ware, Lachrica Jefferson, Monique Alexander, Princess Berthomieux, Valerie McCorvey and Janecia Peters. On June 6 the same jury recommended that Franklin should be put to death.
