Sacramento Superior Court Judge Steve White sentenced Ronnie Vang, 32, to death in the murder of Keith Anthony Fessler, 44, during a June 2009 residential burglary. A separate jury convicted his cousin, Joson Vang, 27, on the same 7 counts that were sustained against Ronnie Vang - murder, burglary, robbery, arson (2 counts), attempted burglary, car theft. White sentenced Joson Vang to life in prison without parole in January.
