A jury has recommended 7-5 the death penalty to William Gregory, 28, white. Gregory was tried and convicted for the Aug. 21, 2007 murder of his ex-girlfriend Skyler Meekins, 17, and her new boyfriend Dan Dyer, 22. The jury recommendation now goes to the presiding Circuit Judge William A. Parson for a hearing to be held on April 1.
