USA - Florida. A jury sentenced Gary Michael Hilton, 64, white, to death

A Leon County jury unanimously recommended the death penalty for Gary Michael Hilton, 64, white, found guilty in the 2007 killing of 46-year-old Cheryl Dunlap. Circuit Judge James C. Hankinson will impose the sentence at a date yet to be scheduled. Hilton had already been sentenced to life in prison in Georgia for pleading guilty to killing 24-year-old Meredith Emerson about a month after Dunlap disappeared. Hilton is also a suspect in at least three other killings, 2 in North Carolina and 1 in Florida.
